Liverpool loanee Marko Grujic was the hero for Hertha Berlin on Saturday as he headed home the winner against Eintracht Frankfurt to place his side sixth in the table as they chase Europa League qualification.
The performance led Hertha Berlin boss Pál Dárdai to pour praise on Grujic – calling him the best midfielder the club has had in two decades.
Whether Grujic has a long-term future at the club is uncertain, but if he continues to impress like this, Jurgen Klopp will give him a chance to prove his worth.
The Serbian remains highly thought of by the Reds, although there is intense competition in the centre of the pitch at first-team level.
He definitely has all the attributes required to make it as a top-level professional.
