Liverpool loaneee Harry Wilson scored his EIGHTH goal of the season from outside of the box last night, which is more than double any other player in English football.
The Welshman curled in a freekick (that was potentially a cross, in fairness) and scored against Southampton in an FA Cup 3rd Round Replay to reduce the deficit from 2-0 to 2-1 at St. Mary’s.
Martyn Waghorn got an equaliser and Derby went on to win on penalties against Premier League opposition.
In all competitions under Frank Lampard, Wilson has 11 goals and has been one of the Championship’s most impressive players.
His beautiful left-foot is a real weapon and we really hope there’s some way Jurgen Klopp can blood Wilson into his first-team squad, as the youngster is simply too good a footballer not to be able to offer us something.
