‘Leaked’ UCL draw suggests who Liverpool will get in the next round

The real Champions League draw takes place later on today but a mysterious post is doing the rounds on social media.

It looks legit, the blurred image, including official logos and a disclaimer at the top.

The document shows that Ajax will face Liverpool in the quarter finals – with the first meeting seemingly being at Anfield.

The Reds’ Premier League title rivals Manchester City get the short end of the stick as they’re apparently set to draw high flying Barcelona.

Manchester United will play Tottenham in an all English clash and Juventus will be travelling to Portugal.

A number of fans have rightly questioned the authenticity of the document, You know the score by now; this happens every year. It’s not hard to make one of these documents and pass it off as legit.

Porto seem to be Liverpool fans’ preferred opponents for the next round. We asked you on Twitter which team you’d most like to face (outside of the English clubs) and the Portuguese club were top of the pile.

Considering our thumping of them this time last year it’s not hard to see why.

The Champions League draw for the quarter finals takes place at 11am on Friday morning.
