Something fairly unusual happened during Liverpool’s Premier League fixture against Huddersfield on Friday night!
Daniel Sturridge found himself with a chance to put the Reds 4-0 up at Anfield, but after fluffing his lines, noticed a dead pigeon over his left shoulder…
The forward didn’t really know what to do with himself and just got on with the game – as he wasn’t really obstructed by the deceased bird.
We’re not sure how long the pigeon had been there, but one thing is for sure – it was just as active as Huddersfield’s strikers on the night!
Our thoughts are with its family at this difficult time.
