This is hilarious!
Lionel Messi has explained how his three-year-old son Mateo teases him about Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final.
That result overturned a 3-0 first-leg defeat, with Liverpool going on to win the competition by beating Spurs in the final.
According to the greatest player the world has ever seen, Mateo pretends to be Liverpool to wind him up!
“He celebrates Madrid goals just to piss off his elder brother. We play ball and he would be like “I’m Liverpool, the ones who beat you!”,” he told TyC Sports, which you can see in the video below.

Messi was visibly shellshocked after that famous Anfield night, in which he couldn’t stop his team-mates from losing their heads and gifting us goals.
His performance in the first-leg though proves he’s still the best in the business.
This year, the two players fighting for the Ballon d’Or are Messi and Virgil van Dijk!
We reckon the Argentine is the favourite, but the fact VVD is in contention proves how wonderful a season he’s had.
