Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might have missed the entirety of last season through injury, but Reds fans know just how good he is.
Many were not convinced when he signed from Arsenal for £35 million – an inflated fee with less than 12 months remaining on his contract – but since then, he’s proven himself time and time again. Now, you won’t find a single Reds fan who doesn’t love him.
We’re used to seeing his driving runs forward from midfield with the ball at his feet – but against Borussia Dortmund, it was his incredible piece of nonchalant skill that was impressing.
As the video below shows, he’s far from a one-trick pony.

We can’t wait to see him in competitive action for the Reds again this coming season – he will genuinely be like a new signing.
There’s almost certainly no truth in speculation linking Philippe Coutinho with a move back to Anfield, and this is why the Reds aren’t going for a creative midfielder. Oxlade-Chamberlain is back.
