Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right back in the Premier League. I’m obviously biased, but even opposition fans would struggle to name many players on his level or above right now.
The lad was crucial in our famous Anfield comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League last season, not to mention his ridiculous assist tally of 12 in the Premier League alone last season.
There are opportunities to boast – an example of this is when Trent whipped in that corner against the Catalan club and caught them napping.
An example of not when to do this is when you lose a game by getting thrashed 5-1 to then talk about an incident in the game which had no impact on the result.
But that’s what one Arsenal fan did on Twitter – and the post has almost 8,000 like as of writing although I suspect some are somewhat ironic.
Never Forget When Iwobi Sent “Best Right Back In The League” Alexander-Arnold Three Times For Hot Dog In The Span Of Few Seconds 😂 pic.twitter.com/79LCL4pIfF

But the fun was short-lived as Liverpool fan Alex Mansfield shut down ‘Aubazettes’ with great aplomb by supplying some very straight-forward facts.
One of two successful take-ons.
Out of eight attempts.
In a 5-1 thrashing. https://t.co/9PWA8ct6I5

The Reds fan simply stated how well Alex Iwobi did against Trent on the day, and reminded the Gunners supporter of how many goals his team shipped at Anfield.
Still, at least Iwobi made Trent get the Echo.
