Fiorentina refuse to list Bobby Duncan as first-team option

Bobby Duncan moved to Fiorentina in order to increase his chances of first-team football, but the Italians have decided against naming him as a first-team signing…

On Twitter, La Viola celebrated their 13 new arrivals upon the closure of the European transfer window, including the likes of Franck Ribery and Kevin-Prince Boateng – but didn’t list Duncan as one of them…

The youngster broke his silence last night, thanking Tim Sherwood and Andy Townsend for supporting his transfer on Sky Sports show The Debate.

Reds have been mightily disappointed about the manner of Duncan’s exit, largely considering the behaviour of his agent, Saif Rubie – who loudly criticised Liverpool and Michael Edwards in a bizarre online attack.

Still, we suppose it worked and Duncan got his way – although it doesn’t look like he’s an immediate option for the Serie A giants.

Only time will tell if Duncan has made the right decision, of course. We wish him well, but would loudly advise him to ditch his unsavoury agent.
