Rhian Brewster made his bow for England U21s last night, coming off the bench and having a proper impact in a 2-0 victory over Kosovo.
Manchester City’s wonderkid Phil Foden was the best player on the pitch by some distance, scoring a brace – but his second effort was thanks to Brewster’s play down the left flank.
Liverpool’s teenage starlet dribbled towards the touchline and fizzed a cross into the box, which eventually ended up at Foden’s feet.
The playmaker finished neatly and confirmed an easy win for his country.
Brewster is yet to make an appearance for Liverpool this term and has so far been consigned to the U23s, but we really hope he gets a debut against MK Dons in the upcoming EFL Cup fixture.
