The Reds face Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday night looking for a first Champions League victory since beating Tottenham in Madrid.
After losing to Napoli in the first group game of the 2019/20 campaign, Jurgen Klopp knows a win here will be massively important.
Getting through to the knockout stages with minimal fuss has to be the aim, with as much of the focus and energy possible to be used on the Premier League games to come.
With that in mind, the normal front three will all be present, with Fabinho in midfield alongside Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum, Klopp’s first-choice front six at the current time.
At the back, too, Klopp is likely to go strong, with Adrian still in goal as Alisson continues to recover from injury. Joe Gomez could come in but he is perhaps more likely to play against Leicester City on Saturday to combat the threat of James Maddison.
Naby Keita could be an option in the centre of the pitch, but missed the Sheffield United game as he continues to build fitness after injury. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner could also come in, though there is also Leicester to consider, where they might feature.
Klopp has so many options in the midfield that it is almost impossible to second-guess what he is going to do, though whoever misses out is almost certain to play a big part at the weekend.
Predicted XI: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Firmino
