Former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey may have done his old club a huge favour against Manchester City as the Newcastle star scored a belter in the 88th minute to level the game at 2-2.
The Reds now sit 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, after picking up three points at home to Brighton and Hove Albion.
Shelvey has always had the occasional banger in his locker, and I’m glad he decided to release one on this occasion!
