Rivalry is part of football and the matches between Liverpool and Manchester United showcase one of the greatest rivalries in the game.
Our supporters, rightly, put rivalries aside as the minute’s applause during the seventh minute of the game was completed in support of Cristiano Ronaldo, following the tragic death of his baby boy.
This is how football should be and as much as it’s a brilliant gesture from our supporters, it shouldn’t even be questioned that human beings can realise that some things are more important.
Then you have the Manchester United supporters who decided that their trip to Anfield was the perfect time to showcase their chant: “The Sun was right, you’re murderers”.
The words were of course reference to the Hillsborough Stadium disaster where 97 supporters were unlawfully killed but this is apparently a good thing to sing songs about.
It wasn’t just once that it was sung and there’s several videos online of a group of ‘fans’ singing it inside and outside of the stadium.
When will this end and when will we see repercussions for this abhorrent behaviour?
He can try and delete it all he wants the fucking cretin.
