There were suggestions Liverpool would loan Sheyi Ojo out this summer, with Jurgen Klopp claiming he’s still deciding whether to lend the wonderkid out to a Championship side for the season – but based on his pre-season performances to date – we might just need him.
Ojo assisted Roberto Firmino’s goal against AC Milan at the weekend and scored the equaliser versus Roma last night, only for Simon Mignolet’s mistake to cost us the result in the second-half.
At 19, Ojo is showing he can contribute in the final third, while his natural physical attributes make him a menace. The fact he’s our only left-footed attacking midfielder should also benefit his cause.
Jurgen, let him stay!
