Dejan Lovren has moved to cool suggestions Liverpool could be title contenders this season.
He scored the opening goal as we beat Chelsea 2-1 last night as we clocked up a third win from our opening five games.
Lovren said we have an impressive array of talent to choose from and hailed the squad depth, but said it was too early to be talking about our end of season ambitions.
“It’s too early to talk about that but we are positive and we can keep playing well,” he said.
“We have so many players here on the bench that can make a difference, we have a brilliant squad, the 25 players here, even those in the stand are top players.
“It’s a challenge for all of us to be 100 per cent in training and that’s what keeps us improving every day.” (official site)
