Ah, okay, I was looking forward to seeing Johnson on one side and Insua on the other, both good at moving the ball forward, and only seen them play together a couple of times this year.

What a horrific spectable. I could not even bare to watch the last 15 minutes. WE DO NOT DESERVE 4TH PLACE. These people have not won a home game since NOVEMBER! What a shameful performance. You are bound to loose, as every game is difficult, but we have not put a string of decent passes together and Wigan are controlling us with ease.
I hope someone takes responsability for this poor showing. Bye Bye Champions League!

Rafa has no fault. Actually, our team has been the problem for the last weeks, I don’t really know what is happenning with our idols. I just want this season to be over!

whatever happened to our policy on buying wingers? maxi, kuyt, benayoun? maybe in spain, but not in the prem. This was a game made for Riera on the left and Babel on the right. On the bright side Insua has lost some weight.
Our big players were awful today. Gerrard must get the wooden spoon for that showing. Looks like Gerrard is trying to stay healthy for the world cup. No fight or effort whatsoever.
The is no bright side to today’s game. It was a horrid performance of which we have seen one too many this season. I won’t say who is to blame in my view, but I will say we DO NOT deserve the 4th spot.
This is pure torture. Wigan had NEVER EVER beaten us. They have won ONLY 5 games this season (and pls dont mention Chelsea because that day Chelsea left their brains and balls behind them in London).
Wrong approach to the game. No change of tactics throughout. Persistent hard-headedness. No flair, no width, no depth. Gerrard seemed unhappy in midfield. Why are we wasting Mascherano as fullback. Why not Johnson from the first minute. Where’s Kelly, Darby? Ayala if need be. Why Mascherano as fullback. Insua suffers a good winger. N’Zogbia ran circles around him. The only thing Kuyt did today was moan and groan. It was well and truly nightmarish!
And I promise you, I will be watching Fulham take on Juventus on thursday! Enough is enough.
