International Career:
- Firmino received his first call-up to the Brazilian national team in October 2014. He scored his first goal on his second appearance, the winner in a friendly against Austria.
- He’s since appeared nine times and scored four goals – striking in friendlies against Chile and Honduras, both winners in 1-0 victories, and grabbing the decisive second goal against Venezuela in the Copa America.
- He has quickly established himself as an important part of Dunga’s squad and is regularly used in a false nine role, with Neymar playing wide of him.
