The Mirror claims that Berahino, who joined Ward last year when the agent left Impact Sports Management to go solo, is worried that the advisor will make the same mistakes and PR disasters he’s made with our own winger.

Under the guidance of Ward, Sterling has made poor decision after poor decision after poor decision – and now he’s essentially cut any ties he has with Liverpool Football Club.

Towards the end of last season, Sterling gave an unauthorised interview with the BBC in which he claimed he rejected £100k-per-week for ‘football reasons’, before his agent claimed in the press that Sterling wouldn’t sign a new deal even for £900k (via Evening Standard).

Since returning to pre-season training, Sterling has told the club he won’t go on pre-season tour to force through a £50m deal to Manchester City, and yesterday – phoned in sick (via Liverpool Echo) to the complete shock of Liverpool fans worldwide.

It’s a shame Sterling couldn’t have followed Berahino’s example earlier.
