Former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt was at the heart of a bizarre punch-up this week, after making a goalscoring start to his second spell with former club Feyenoord.
The 35-year-old, who spent six successful years with Liverpool after leaving Feyenoord in 2006, returned to join the Rotterdam side this summer and appropriately netted the winner against another of his ex-sides, FC Utrecht, on his first appearance back with the club.

Kuyt’s penalty, nine minutes from time, secured a 3-2 win and sparked wild scenes among both the Feyenoord fans and a series of photographers, who were all clamouring to get the best possible shot of the iconic forward.
Unfortunately, such was their desperation, that the goal caused several of the watching cameramen to begin their own touchline brawl, with one individual even falling to the floor after being shoved one too many times.
A blameless Kuyt, who must have been wishing he’d run in the other direction, still looked happy enough with his debut goal – which you can see in full in the video below, via the Daily Mirror:
