It’s worth pointing out that Brendan Rodgers has also made some strong signings, most notably Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge. There are also high hopes for this summer’s crop – which includes the likes of Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and Christian Benteke – so we can only hope that there won’t be a fourteenth name to add to this list in the near future.
