We are not here to make scapegoats of our own players. But Alberto Moreno…eurgh.
After Daniel Sturridge had superbly given Liverpool a half-time lead, the full-back a double error within 20 seconds of the restart to gift Sevilla an equaliser in the Europa League final.

Sturridge’s unbelievable strike with the outside of his left foot was wiped out straight from the second-half kickoff by Kevin Gameiro, after Moreno had made not one, but two mistakes.
A poor clearing header put the Reds in trouble, and, in an effort to make amends the Spaniard rushed into a misjudged tackle and exposed our defence to Mariano Ferrerira’s goal-providing cross.
Sevilla have since established a 3-1 lead with two goals from Coke, but it started with Moreno’s sloppiness right at the start of the second half. And it is far from his first mistake this season.
