Jose Enrique, released by Liverpool at the end of last season, has a new club!
The Spaniard has moved back to his homeland and signed for Real Zaragoza, with the La Liga side tweeting the news today.

The left-back, criticised by Liverpool fans for spending more time on social media than the football pitch, was available on a free as he was out of contract, but it still took him until now to sign for a team.
Enrique spent five years at Liverpool, and despite starting well, injuries took their toll – but it was his decision to stay at the club and pick up his hefty wages when he was told he wouldn’t be used that really irked supporters.
We wouldn’t say we feel sorry for the guy, but Enrique just wanted to be liked – and misjudged the perception of what he was uploading to his Twitter and Instagram channels.
Hopefully he’s learned his lesson, as when fully fit, he was a decent left-back – all in all.
Good luck in Spain, Jose.
