How good was that?
Roberto Firmino has scored the first ever goal in front of our new Main Stand with a wonderfully well-taken goal.
James Milner deserves a lot of credit — he took up a position well inside Leicester’s half, catching the Leicester full-back unprepared.
Daniel Sturridge then created the space, pulling centre-back Wes Morgan out of position to give the Brazilian space to run into.

When Firmino eventually picked up the ball, his exquisite first touch allowed him to ghost inside Robert Huth and place a calm finish inside Kasper Schmeichel’s near post.

We are approaching the 20 minute mark in the game, and after Leicester started brightly, the mighty Reds now seem to be well on top.
Lucas has looked calm at centre-back in place of the injured Dejan Lovren, and our midfield three is controlling the game well.
