Delusional Balotelli slams Liverpool, Klopp, Rodgers; says he’ll win Ballon d’Or soon…

Oh dear, Mario!

The Italian striker made his debut for Nice last night, and in fairness, did very well. He scored two goals in the Ligue 1 outfit’s 3-2 victory over Marseille – the same number he’s managed in his past two seasons with Liverpool and then Milan on loan…

Instead of just enjoying his performance though, the 26-year-old took his brace as an opportunity to criticise Liverpool – again.

“Apart from the fans, who were fantastic, and some players who I got on really well with, I didn’t like the club,” Balotelli told Canal Plus, cited by BBC Sport.

“I had two coaches, with Rodgers and Klopp for a short time, but neither their methods nor their personality left me with a good impression,” he said.

“I never really felt right there.”

Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola recently stuck the knife in on Klopp as well, but thankfully, Liverpool’s manager refused to get drawn into a petty feud.

The fact the forward then told reporters he thinks he can win the Ballon d’Or, while at Nice, in a few seasons – sums up his insanity.

“Of course. It’s not too late,” he said. “I think I could have already won it by now, but by working hard in training I could still win it in the next two or three years.”

We do actually wish Balotelli well in France. He has never said anything bad about the fans, who got hugely behind him upon his arrival. Sadly, he’s just not as good at football as he thinks he is, and Ligue 1 is probably his level right now.

We’d advise him to stop having a pop at Liverpool as well. One day he’ll realise that his failure here was his own fault, nobody else’s.
