Jordan Henderson or Paul Pogba?
The answer is Hendo, obviously.
Ok – we’re biased. But one man who isn’t biased and would still rather have Jordan in his side in Arsenal star turned SkySports pundit, Paul Merson.
He thinks our captain has been as good as any other player in the Premier League this season while Pogba has flattered to deceive down the East Lancs Road.
“Who would I rather have? Today, Jordan Henderson” he said (Echo).
“Over the next 10 years, I don’t know – it probably should be Pogba considering how much money they spent.
“Henderson has been as good as anybody in the Premier League. Credit where credit is due, he’s been outstanding. Pogba has been struggling.”
Man Utd spent £89 million on Pogba this summer, breaking the world record fee that Real Madrid paid to Spurs for Gareth Bale. The amount itself is absolutely laughable, but it’s made all the funnier by the fact United actually let Pogba move to Juventus on a free transfer four years previously.
Since returning to Old Trafford in the summer he has scored just one league goal in six games and has been “missing in action” for long parts of most games.
