Liverpool’s owner John W. Henry is coming in for serious criticism at the moment, as fans look for areas to direct their anger following a run of one win in ten matches.
The primary gripe seems to be that FSG haven’t spent big money on improving the squad during their seven years here, while our rivals bring in very expensive players at the drop of a hat.
This January we didn’t make a transfer, although Jurgen Klopp has already taken responsibility for that via the Echo.
Still, when American John W. Henry sent out a tweet about the Super Bowl last night, it rubbed Liverpool fans up the wrong way, as he hasn’t spoken about our club in weeks and hasn’t been to a game in a while either.
Patriots are in their seventh Super Bowl in the past 16 seasons. Falcons are the sixth opponent the Patriots will face in those appearances

@John_W_Henry invest money in the team or sell the club to someone with the cash to take Liverpool Football Club back were it belongs!

@John_W_Henry why do we have to sell to buy players when we’re the 9th richest team in the world I’ll ask again ?

We think this reaction is a little ridiculous, in truth. Nobody was complaining about FSG when we were winning before Christmas, but now the same squad is losing it’s the owner’s fault.
No, in the short-term, the blame here must go with Klopp and his squad for their failure to adapt to defensive teams. Next summer, if we again fail to inspire in the market, we can look to the owners. For now, there’s no point getting angry at them – it won’t change anything.
