Brazil manager Tite has claimed Jurgen Klopp gave him instructions about how to man-manage our two brilliant attackers Coutinho and Roberto Firmino…
Both Coutinho and Firmino are key members of Tite’s squad, with the former a starter in his first-choice front-three alongside Neymar and Gabriel Jesus.
However, the Manchester City striker is injured and likely out for the campaign, meaning Firmino could be the natural choice to replace him next time Brazil play which is at the end of this month.

As a result, Tite consulted Liverpool’s manager, who told him that while Coutinho needs an arm around the shoulder, Firmino gets fired up after a rollicking!
“Klopp said Coutinho is like a kid, he needs quiet talk. Firmino is like a Street Boy, you can scream to him and he will answer,” Tite said, cited in the Echo.
“I discussed with Liverpool coach Klopp, about Coutinho and Firmino. I asked him questions so I use them in the best way for Brazil.”
The idea of two Liverpool players in Brazil’s front-three, alongside world superstar Neymar, is very cool indeed.
Obviously we’ll be nervous of the pair returning injured, but the club should take pride in their involvement nonetheless.
It’s high time the pair started scoring goals again, of course. Since Christmas, Coutinho hasn’t scored and Firmino has only bagged in one game – the 3-2 defeat to Swansea.
They’re brilliant, but need to start delivering end product again if we’re to finish in the top four.
