Juventus are no longer interested in Emre Can and are instead pursuing a deal for PSG’s Blaise Matuidi, reports Italian outlet Calciomercato.
The Italian giants had been heavily linked with our 23-year-old German, who has less than 12 months remaining on his Liverpool contract.

We want to extend his deal, but so far, the club hasn’t made an offer Can feels is acceptable.
Jurgen Klopp’s a big fan though and now Juve aren’t tailing him, we’d hope that Can puts pen to paper before the start of the season.
He’ll have a battle on his hands though to earn a starting spot next term, with captain Jordan Henderson returning to fitness. We’re also trying to buy Naby Keita, meaning we could have the Guinean 22-year-old added to a midfield roster which already includes Gini Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana and Coutinho.
At his best though, Can offers both physicality, dynamism and technical skill centrally – as well as leadership.
