It was reported at the end of last week that Liverpool have dropped interest in Roma keeper Alisson.
Jurgen Klopp has told the Brazilian’s representatives that we don’t the 25-year-old anymore, according to Melissa Reddy in Goal.
This is utterly baffling, to us, despite his £62m price-tag.
Loris Karius has enjoyed a few good games since his reintegration into the team, but he’s not shown that he could develop into a world-class stopper yet – which is what we need to win titles.
Alisson IS a world-class keeper, and displayed it last night in the Champions League.
Roma lost to Shakhtar 2-1, but without Alisson, it would have been four or five.
Check out some of his goalkeeping below.
He could become Liverpool’s David de Gea – why not give it a go?!
