France World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard has rejected claims that he’s already got a pre-contract agreement with Bayern Munich, amid rumours that Liverpool are also keen on his services.
The 22-year-old plays for Stuttgart, but was recently linked to us – although the source, ‘KickOff’ is murky at best…

Pavard has suggested he’s happy where he is, for now.
“You journalists said I had signed for Bayern but I am happy at Stuttgart,” he told L’Equipe.
“The World Cup arrived sooner than I expected, even for me.
“My plan was to stay another season in Germany. I am at a very big club with fantastic fans. I have signed nothing.”
The youngster can play at either right-back, where he did for his country in Russia, or in the middle of defence, where he does in Germany – and clearly has a very high ceiling.
Liverpool though are pretty well stocked in both positions. Trent Alexander-Arnold could be our right-back for the next decade, while Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez are both more than capable of playing backup roles here.
At centre-back, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip currently cannot get into the side, so we’re not sure Jurgen Klopp will be pursuing a defender in this position.
