The tale of Nabil Fekir and Liverpool Football Club has taken a fresh twist as a renowned French news journalist has confirmed the Reds have reignited their interest in the forward.
This comes just a day after a Lyon-based news outlet has suggested that there had been a U-turn on Merseyside regarding the Frenchman.

Romain Collet-Gaudin, who works for Canal+, claims the Reds are again interested in bringing the World Cup winner to Anfield, but are unwilling to splash £40million. He also suggests a fee closer to £20million is what Liverpool would be willing to cough up.

Last summer it was reported that the French giants wanted in excess of £60million for their talisman, as per the Daily Mail, but the Reds baulked after a medical exam.
Liverpool’s upcoming friendly with Lyon at the end of next month may pose as an opportunity to iron out the deal (something which a report by Le Progres recently suggested).
The Reds have been linked with a host of attacking talent lately – Federico Chiesa and Nicolas Pepe come to mind – and with so much smoke there has to be a fire.
One thing is for sure, this one looks as if it’s going to stretch two summers so get yourselves strapped in.
