Former Reds midfielder Suso is available this summer for a fee of €35 million, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport via The Mirror.
The Spaniard has done well since moving AC Milan, and the Reds have been linked with a move to bring him back to Anfield at times in the past. Lyon, who are searching for a replacement for Nabil Fekir, are said to be leading the race.
Suso can be a little inconsistent, but he would provide both a creative option in the midfield three and a bit of cover in the frontline too.
There is no suggestion that the Reds are interested right now, though they have reportedly considered bringing him back to Anfield previously. We certainly wouldn’t be against him re-joining the club.
At that kind of price, he could prove to be a bargain, though whether he would be prepared to come in as a squad option could be a potential sticking point.
A move to Ligue 1 seems likely, and it will be interesting to see how he gets on there after a decent few seasons in Italy.
