2) Chris Lawler

The right-back of choice for us during the 1960s and early 1970s. He won nine titles, including three first division titles and the UEFA Cup. He played more than 400 league games for us and won four caps for England.

1) Phil Neal

Followed Lawler into the team in the mid-1970s and kept the position for more than a decade. He played more than 450 league games for us and helped us lift four European Cups. He also won 50 caps for the Three Lions.
