4) Donald McKinlay
Another player who impressed either side of the First World War, having also been part of the side that won the title in 1922 and 1923. He won a couple of caps for Scotland only for his career to be cut short by injury.
3) Steve Nicol
An important part of some of the best Liverpool sides, playing almost 350 games for us between 1981 and 1994. He picked up five first division titles, three FA Cups and the European Cup among 14 major honours.
