Fun Facts:
- Traore was a key part of the team that won the 2013-14 UEFA Youth League. Barcelona beat Benfica 3-0 in the final, with Munir El Haddadi the stand-out performer.
- Adama has previously been compared to Arjen Robben. Interestingly, he’s also been heavily linked with Robben’s current club, Bayern Munich. Arsenal have also been mentioned (via the Metro).
- Liverpool are no strangers to players of Malian descent. Adama’s namesake, Djimi Traore, was a member of our Champions League winning side in 2005. Mohamed Sissoko also came from the African nation and helped us win the FA Cup in 2006.
