The young German, clearly full of confidence following his vital introduction against Stoke City last weekend, chipped the ball deliciously over a despairing Adam Bogdan, who was already on the floor before the ball had got to him and couldn’t get back to his feet in time to stop the shot dropping into the net.
Can, who will hope to be involved from the start against Bournemouth on Monday, certainly looks a more and more talented player with every passing week. Considering the fact that he’s still 21, it boggles the mind to think how good he could have become within a couple of years.
