Daniel Agger retires
Agger left us in 2014 after eight years of loyal service, in which he turned down the advances of big money and Champions League football at Barcelona and Manchester City.
Rightly, Reds took to Twitter to applaud Agger for his years on Merseyside, where at his highest level – he was up there with the best in the business.
A fit Danny Agger would have been the perfect Jürgen Klopp player, when you think about it. Brought so much positivity into the #LFC defence

Daniel Agger rejected Barcelona, Man City & AC Milan to stay with Liverpool. Can’t find loyalty like that nowadays. Hero.

Agger was such a loyal and quality defender for LFC, was gutted when he left. Definitely on the long list of Liverpool legends.
