We’d like to think there is absolutely no chance of this one happening.
The Times have reported: “Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in signing an English player is being driven largely by Patrick Kluivert, the director of football, who has recommended both Dele Alli and Adam Lallana as potential targets for next summer.”
It has taken Lallana so long to find his top form at Liverpool and present himself as one of Jurgen Klopp’s key players that we expect him to remain at the club until he fulfils what he is capable of in England.
He poses as his national side’s most technically gifted footballer as well as moulding into a firm fan favourite on Merseyside since Klopp’s arrival and we see no reason why he would want to disrupt this kind of incline.
This squad is only going to get strong in the summer and even though that means Lallana faces a tougher competition for places, it also means he will find himself in a side even more equipped for success than the promising one he currently plays in.
Not only is his ability on a ball too precious to lose, but so is his attitude and approach to the intensity and the work rate required to compete at the top of England’s highest tier.
