Liverpool beat Tranmere 3-2 in a friendly at Prenton Park last night, thanks to goals from Sheyi Ojo, Rafa Camacho and Adam Lallana.
All three were struck in the first-half, and despite a dodgy second period, which saw Loris Karius commit a nasty mistake for Tranmere’s opener, Liverpool held on.
Ojo impressed on the right flank, beating his fullback on regular occasion and scoring a nice goal after showing some impressive close-control.
Camacho bagged into the same corner of the net after an impressive run-out at right-back which gives us hope for the future. Perhaps he can follow in Trent Alexander-Arnold’s footsteps!
We wrote up Adam Lallana’s third last night, and you can check it out, here.
Jurgen Klopp will be pleased with the passing and tenacity during the opening 45, but very aware that the sloppiness of the second needs to be eradicated.
Back to the training ground, lads!
