And while we’re 99% certain Liverpool are not going to bring anyone else in, Premier League clubs face a race against time to get Danny Ings through the door.
Respected BBC journalist David Ornstein claims that this is the only big piece of business that could go down, with Southampton and Crystal Palace reportedly interested [Echo].
Quiet day expected at Liverpool. No more arrivals, #LFC haven’t made an enquiry since signing Alisson. Exits possible (lots of interest in Ings) but nothing in place + whole squad reporting to training at 1200 for 1330 start so time short. Will utilise Euro window for sales/loans

As the reporter suggests, it’s likely that our fringe players will exit later in August, but to foreign clubs…
Their window closes at the end of the month, so can still exit Liverpool abroad.
The likes of Simon Mignolet, Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi are surely set for an exit.
That trio could earn us close to £50m, which would be a nice boost for the club after splashing out big money on four new recruits: Alisson, Xherdan Shaqiri, Naby Keita and Fabinho.
