LFC set to do three more deals as Ojo completes Reims loan

Liverpool are likely to offload three more players before the European transfer window shuts, according to Ian Doyle of the Echo.

The deadline for Premier League sides to buy new players was August 9, but our European rivals have until the end of the month, and could take advantage of this by securing some of our unwanted squad players.

Sheyi Ojo this morning confirmed his move to Ligue 1 side Reims on loan, and we wish him plenty of luck for the campaign. Hopefully he’ll get plenty of minutes and stay fit.

The report suggests Divock Origi could join Besiktas, with Dominic Solanke a potential leaver to Rangers, but only if the Belgian stays… (Jurgen Klopp wants at least one of these as third-choice striker behind Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge.)

Lazar Markovic will also get an exit, which will avoid him staying on our books for a fifth season. What an incredible flop he’s been.

Lastly, young Spaniard Pedro Chirivella is up for loan and should move to a smaller European league before September arrives.

Simon Mignolet though will be refused an exit, against his wishes, with Liverpool needing him as backup to Alisson after loaning Loris Karius to Besiktas.
