Italian site Tutto Mercato (via Football Italia) are reporting that Bobby Duncan, the 18-year-old Reds striker who claimed the club had bullied him and damaged his mental health last week, will undergo a medical with Fiorentina today as he is set to seal a move away from Merseyside.

Agent Saif Rubie made a series of incredible claims about the Reds and specifically sporting director Michael Edwards before deleting his Twitter account where the official statement had been posted.

The Italian transfer window closes tonight, so if Duncan is to get the move he wants, the deal will have to be done quickly. It is claimed that La Viola have offered him a three-year contract.

If Duncan has forced his way out, that would be a big shame for the Reds. He only arrived from Manchester City last summer, and went on to score 32 times for the club who he has supported all his life – it was meant to be the dream switch.

The England youth international wants regular first-team football. Assuming that the deal does go through before the deadline, the question is, will he get that straight away at Fiorentina?
