There’s a growing expectation among Liverpool fans that Sheyi Ojo is going to be the next big thing. And if his performance for England’s Under-18 side is anything to go by, the youngster has a very bright future ahead of him.

You can watch in the video below as the young Reds star bursts in from the left-hand side and wins a penalty, before picking himself back up to his feet and comfortably converting the spot kick.

Ojo, who doesn’t turn 18 until next week, spent the second-half of last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, impressing during his 11 Championship appearances. Despite failing to prevent Wigan falling to a second relegation in three seasons, Ojo did enough to inspire a fresh wave of optimism among Liverpool fans.

The winger has also impressed for the Three Lions, making 22 appearances across three age groups and scoring four goals. You can watch his latest moment of brilliance in the clip below:
