Le10 Sport are suggesting that the Reds will rival Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United for the signature of the 20-year-old Mail international, and their claims have also been picked up on by the Liverpool Echo.

Traore, who has played 20 league games for the French side and scored a couple of goals, is one of the highest rated young players in Ligue 1 and is subsequently attracting a lot of interest.

He recently starred for the Mali Under-20 team at the 2015 World Cup tournament in New Zealand. He scored four goals and provided three assists, earning him the Golden Ball award for the tournament’s best player. Mali finished the competition in third place, losing in the semi-finals to eventual winners Serbia.

Liverpool have been making moves for a number of talented young players this summer. We’ve already picked up Joe Gomez, Bobby Adekanye and Brooks Lennon, while we’re reportedly in talks with Brazilian starlet Allan (via The Guardian).
