Sheyi Ojo showed that he could break into the Liverpool first team next season with an eye-catching hat-trick in our U21 match with Middlesbrough on Monday.

The 18-year-old winger displayed his crazy talent by scoring all three Liverpool goals in a narrow 3-2 victory. Two of the treble can be seen in the below video.

The first goal you can see might have been a bit of a flukey finish, but just look at the ease with which he goes past his marker. The second is much more convincing.

Ojo completed his hat-trick with an ice-cool penalty late on after Jerome Sinclair had been felled in the area, after Arnel Jakupovic had bagged a double for Boro.

As the Daily Star reports, Jurgen Klopp has indicated that he would like to sign a couple of wingers in the summer, but a diamond of one may already be at the club.

Ojo, who has made three substitute appearances in the FA Cup this season and scored against Exeter City, has admitted that he is looking to catch Klopp’s eye.

He is quoted by the Echo as saying: “Hopefully I can impress the manager whenever I get the opportunity. I have to keep trying to do well for the under-21s, keep learning and push on from there.”
