Liverpool fans have reacted in a broadly positive manner to the news that we face a trip to Derby for the Third Round of the League Cup.
The game will be played in the week commencing 19th September.
The draw could have been a banana skin, with the Premier League sides involved in Europe – including United, City, and Spurs – all entering the fray.

However, we avoided all those teams and instead face a second consecutive away game at a mid-table Championship side.
Derby have four points from four games this season and lie 16th in the table.
Here’s what fans think of the draw:
At last, a chance to get revenge for the FA Cup 4th round defeat in 1976. Roger Davies. The lanky weed.
