Could it be true? Could Mario Balotelli finally be about to leave Liverpool?!
It would appear so.
According to Ticinonews (cited on Echo), Swiss side FC Sion have confirmed that they are negotiations with us for the permanent transfer of the Italian striker.
“I confirm that we are speaking,” president Christian Constantin said.
“Negotiations are under way. Now of course I cannot know if it will succeed or not.”
The man who cost us £16 million two years ago has been told he has no future at the club – but despite his agent’s best efforts, he has not yet managed to find a move away from Anfield.

A host of Serie A minnows have been linked, as well as clubs in Turkey. This is the first club to seriously confirm their interest, however.
His wages could yet be a stumbling block. He’s on £90,000 per week with us and smaller European clubs cannot hope to match it.
