While Jurgen Klopp is rapidly rolling towards his one-year anniversary with the club, so too is Danny Ings rolling towards the one-year anniversary of his ligament injury.
The ACL problem was sustained in Klopp’s first ever training session, and with the exception of a late cameo on the final day of last season, we have not seen him in the first team since.

But he has been working away in the U23s and has now scored seven times this season at that level.
